Hodge back for Vics' Twenty20 opener
Batsman Brad Hodge will return to the Victorian side for the Twenty20 domestic cricket competition opener against Queensland on New Year's eve.
Hodge has overcome a back injury, suffered before Australia's Twenty20 clash against New Zealand earlier this month, to take his place and lead the side in the match in Townsville in the absence of Cameron White.
Paceman Shane Harwood is also fit after a groin injury, but strike bowler Gerard Denton (ankle) and captain White (foot) will still be sidelined for a bit longer.
