Marsh century lights up the WACA

Shaun Marsh hit a brilliant century to guide the Retravision Warriors to a imposing total of 198 against the SpeedBlitz Blues at the WACA in tonight's KFC Big Bash encounter.

Adam Voges won the toss for the Warriors and on a perfect night for batting the Warriors captain didn't hesitate in deciding to bat first.

The decision paid of for Voges as Marsh and Wes Robinson enjoyed an opening partnership of 168 for the Warriors, a new KFC Big Bash record.

Marsh enjoyed the batsmen friendly conditions scoring his 100 from just 53 balls.

The partnership was broken by Mitchell Starc who cleaned bowled Robinson for 54 with two overs to go. Luke Ronchi joined Marsh in the middle and the pair smashed another 30 runs to leave the Blues facing a run chase of 199.
