Victoria recorded its second successive interstate Twenty20 win, defeating South Australia by eight wickets at the Junction Oval in St Kilda on Sunday.

The Bushrangers, who defeated Western Australia by two runs at the WACA ground in Perth on Friday night, chased a victory target of 114 and brought up the winning runs in the 13th over.

Jon Moss (41 not out) and Victorian captain Cameron White (8 not out) guided the home side to victory after the loss of only two wickets.

Test batsman Brad Hodge was the first Victorian dismissal, out for 26 when he was bowled by Gary Putland.

Hodge hit six fours in his 15-ball innings.

Liam Buchanan was the only other wicket to fall, caught by Cameron Borgas off the bowling of Redbacks captain Darren Lehmann for 25.

Moss' innings off 31 balls was most entertaining, having smashed three sixes and one four.

Shaun Tait, making his first appearance for South Australia since undergoing shoulder surgery in October, endured a horror return with the figures of 0 for 18 off two overs.

Earlier, the Redbacks were all out for 113 off 19.2 overs after being sent into bat and scoring at a run rate of 5.84.

Opener Shane Deitz top-scored for the visitors with 34 off as many balls, his innings including one six and two fours.

Mark Cleary compiled the next-best score for the Redbacks, a quick-fire 20 off just 12 deliveries.

Shane Harwood returned the economical figures of 3 for 13 off 3.1 overs with White (2 for 32) and Andrew McDonald (2 for 28) claiming doubles.
