Tigers blown away by the Bulls at the Gabba

The Tasmanian Tigers suffered a torrid time at the Gabba; slumping to a total of just 118-8 against the Queensland Bulls after being put into bat by the hosts.

Having started their campaign with an impressive 63 run victory against the Retravision Warriors last week the Tigers came into the game full of confidence but they were blown away by the Bulls.

With only skipper George Bailey (37) offering any sort of resistants the Tigers bowlers will struggle to defend a total of just 119 against the Bulls big hitting top order.

James Faulkner (24) added some valuable runs at the bottom of the order after Bailey was bowled by Nathan Rimmington in the 17th over.

The Tigers struggles were compounded with some poor running between the wickets which resulted in Mark Cosgrove (15) and Travis Brit (12) both run out inside the 8 overs.
