Bailey wins the toss, Tigers bat first

Tasmanian Tigers skipper George Bailey has won the toss and elected to bat first against the Retravision Warriors in their make or break game at the Bellerive Oval in Hobart.

Both teams come in to the game tied on six points and victory for either side will guarantee them a place in the preliminary final.

The Warriors, who cruised to victory over the Queensland Bulls on Tuesday night, will be without big hitting opener Chris Gayle after the West Indian returned to the Caribbean in preparation for next months ODI World Cup.

With Australian international Shaun Marsh missing as well the Warriors have brought in Michael Swart who will open the batting with Liam Davis.

The Tigers meanwhile have brought in Ed Cowan who will replace Luke Butterworth as the home side look to strengthen their batting line up.
