Luke Wright led the way with a patient 34 from 30 balls but with wickets falling at regular intervals the Stars slipped to just their second defeat of the tournament. It proved to be a good night for the Heat who kept their chances of reaching the semi finals alive thanks in part to a quick fire 49 from Hopes who helped the home side record a total of 171-5.
