Daredevils will miss Vettori's experience

The Delhi Daredevils will miss the service of experienced New Zealander Daniel Vettori when the Indian Premier League team start their Champions League Twenty20 campaign on Friday, feels spinner Amit Mishra.

Mishra, a key member of Delhi team's spin department, however, is hopeful that Vettori's absence would not dent the prospect of the side in the USD six million tournament.

"Vettori will surely be missed in the squad because he is an experienced and quality bowler. But I hope his absence will not hamper Delhi Daredevil's chances of winning at the big event. We have enough players to put up quality performance," Mishra said.

Delhi Daredevils would play their first match in the tournament against Victoria in front of the home crowd at Feroze Shah Kotla.

The 26-year-old Mishra was raring to go in the showpiece event starting tomorrow.
