Trinidad ready for Champions League debut

After pulling off a sensational last-ball win in their opening match, England's Somerset have little time to rejoice as they take on Trinidad and Tobago in their second group A game of the Champions League Twenty20 cricket tournament here tomorrow.

Justin Langer's men scraped past Deccan Chargers by one wicket last night after recovering from a rather precarious 99 for seven and the win over the reigning Indian Premier League champions would do a world of good to their confidence tomorrow.

But the English Twenty20 Championship runner-ups did not look quite convincing last night even though they managed to cross the line after witnessing some torrid moments.

Somerset simply struggled for partnerships against the Chargers and none of their top and middle order batsmen looked like taking the responsibility and staying till the end to see the side through.
