Lions win the toss, bat first in must win game

Highveld Lions skipper Alviro Petersen has won the toss and decided to bat first against the Royal Challengers Bangalore in a make or break game for both teams.

Victory for either team will see them seal a place in the Twenty20 Champions League semi finals where they will play the winning of Group A on Friday at Kingsmead.

The Royals Challengers hopes of victory were dealt a blow this morning after all rounder Jacques Kallis was ruled out of the tournament with a neck injury, Dillion du Preez comes in to replace him.

The Lions meanwhile have brought Cliff Deacon and Neil McKenzie into the line replacing Craig Alexander and Jean Symes.
