Super Kings bat first in showdown with Warriors

Chennai Super Kings skipper MS Dhoni has won the toss and decided to bat first against the Chevrolet Warriors in a make or break game for both sides at St George’s Park.

Both teams come into their final group game knowing a victory will secure them a semi final clash against the Royal Challengers Bangalore at Kingsmead on Friday evening.

A defeat however for the Super Kings will end their tournament allowing the Victorian Bushrangers to sneak into the semi finals and set up a mouth watering clash against the South Australia Redbacks at Centurion.

The Warriors can still secure a place in the knock out stages and deny the Bushrangers providing they don’t lose heavily against the Super Kings because of the superior run rate.

The home side have made no changes to their line up while the Super Kings have made one change to the team that lost against the Victorian Bushrangers with Shadab Jakati coming in for Lakshmipathy Balaji.
