Dhoni praises Raina after Super Kings win

Chennai Super Kings skipper MS Dhoni was full of praise for Suresh Raina after his man of the match innings against the Royal Challengers Bangalore.

Raina smashed 94 runs from just 48 deliveries, which included 5 fours and 6 sixes to help the Super Kings cruise to a comprehensive 52 run victory over the Royal Challengers to secure a place in the Twenty20 Champions League final.

"Raina's batting made it look so easy. Bangalore got a blow when they lost Steyn. Raw pace would have made a difference - Raina cashed in and good support from Vijay and Hussey," said Dhoni after the game.

"Raina has the kind of talent where he can take it away once he is set. The use of the new ball was important. Bollinger normally does not bowl up, uses the short balls," he added.

Royal Challengers skipper Anil Kumble was understandably disappointed especially losing Dale Steyn so early during the Super Kings innings.

"Too many runs on the board, then Steyn got injured, and then Virat also got injured. Things did not go our way. One catch, if the fielder had taken Raina's catch things could have been different," said Kumble.

"We needed a good chance while chasing, but it did not happen. It's been a fantastic time with this side," he added.
