Having won the toss, Trinidad and Tobago got off to a rampant start thanks to Lendl Simmons (67) and Adrian Barath (62) who shared an opening stand of 139 to put the Carribean side it total control. Harry Gurney (2-33) gave the Foxes hope by removing Simmons and Barath in quick succession before Darren Bravo (18) and Denesh Ramdin (11) added 29 runs during a 3rd wicket stand to help their side reach 168-2. The victory guarantees Trinidad and Tobago their place in the group stages while the Foxes will need to secure a large victory over the Ruhunu Elevens tomorrow afternoon if they are to have any hope of qualifying as the best runner up.
