Hampshire have signed Western Australia batsman Adam Voges on a short-term deal according to BBC Radio Solent.
The 27-year-old was called into the Australia squad for the third Ashes Test last winter but did not play.
Voges made 16 not out in his solitary ODI to date in February, but his maiden one-day ton for WA in 2004/5 took 62 balls, the fastest in domestic history.
He will feature in the Twenty20 Cup as compatriots Shane Warne and Stuart Clark both take mid-season breaks.
Following their FP Trophy semi-final against Warwickshire on Wednesday, Hampshire begin their Twenty20 programme with a home match against Kent on Friday.
