Roses game abandoned due to Rain

Tonights Twenty20 Cup game between the Yorkshire Phoenix and Lancashire Lightning at Headingley Carnegie has been abandoned due to the wet conditions.
West Yorkshire has been deluge by heavy rain over the past couple of days and the forecast is for more rain today. The Match Umpire carried out an inspection at noon and has decided the match will not go ahead.
The two teams are due to face each other again in the return North Zone fixture at Old Trafford on Wednesday.
Spectators with tickets for this match will be able to attend any other Yorkshire match at Headingley this season, including the Roses match on 9-12 August at Headingley.
