Captain Chris Adams's 56 off 27 balls carried Sussex to an easy nine-wicket win over Hampshire at the Rose Bowl.
Replying to the hosts' 103-2 off a rain-reduced 13 overs, Adams and Luke Wright (49 not out) reached the target with three overs to spare.
The Sharks' only loss was Murray Goodwin for a duck in the first over, Chris Tremlett destroying his stumps.
Adam Voges hit a Hampshire Twenty20 best of 66no but timid support left the Hawks with an inadequate total.
