Glamorgan's Twenty20 Cup clash against Northamptonshire under the floodlights at Sophia Gardens was abandoned without a ball bowled - the second home game to fall victim to the weather.
The match had been due to start at 7.45pm as a 19-over game after showers, but the rain became more persistent with the umpires Neil Mallender and Richard Kettleborough forced to call the contest off at 8.30pm.
It leaves Glamorgan, who also had their clash against Gloucestershire rained off last Friday, and Northamptonshire taking a point each.
