Jon Lewis today appealed to Gloucestershire supporters to turn out in force to back the county's bid for Twenty20 Cup glory.
Worcestershire provide the opposition in Tuesday's quarter-final in Bristol and the county anticipate their biggest crowd of the season.
But ticket sales have yet to match expectations and Lewis has issued a reminder to cricket fans in the city.
"In terms of trying to win a trophy, this is our biggest game of the summer so far," declared Gloucestershire's captain.
"Obviously, given the importance of the occasion, we would like to see the ground full.
"I'm aware of the problems we've had with the weather and Twenty20 does need sunshine to bring in the crowds. But we have a fantastic opportunity to reach the final stages of what has become the biggest limited overs competition in county cricket and we are going to need all the help we can get if we are to beat Worcestershire."
Capacity is set at 8,000 for Tuesday's encounter and Gloucestershire have announced extended opening hours to enable the public to book tickets in advance.
More than 7,500 packed into the County Ground to see Gloucestershire beat Somerset in a Twenty20 qualifying tie last season, the biggest attendance for any domestic one-day game at Nevil Road in more than two decades.
Lewis said: "When the ground is full to the brim at Bristol, it creates a wonderful atmosphere.
"I know for a fact that opposition sides don't relish playing here and it's important we make home advantage count for us. It means a lot to me and my team-mates to have the backing of a big Bristol crowd.
"They've given us excellent support in qualifying and I hope they can turn out in numbers and back us again when we play Worcestershire."
Ticket bookings placed and collected by 1pm today will be at the advanced price of £16 for adults and £8 for under-16s.
Members can also purchase their tickets for collection by the same time to benefit from their special advanced prices of £13 (adults) and £6 (under 16s).
Subject to availability, gate price tickets will be available from the Nevil Road office on Monday and on the day of the match.
Alternatively, these can be purchased at the gate on the day of the match from 3.30pm onwards, priced £20 (adults) and £10 (under-16s) for members and non-members.
