Fresh from their Twenty20 breaking record innings the Northatants Steelbacks face the Warwickshire Bears in front of a sell out crowd at Wantage Road.
They have no tickets left for the visit of Warwickshire Bears to the County Ground for the second Twenty20 fixture of the week (5.30 start), and chief executive Mark Tagg is telling anybody who has not pre-booked not to bother heading for Wantage Road.
He explained: "Because of the size of the ground, when we say we are sold out, I'm afraid that means sold out. "It is already a tight squeeze and there will be no way of fitting any more in."
It is, of course, great news for the Steelbacks, who also had a bumper crowd at Campbell Park to watch their opening-round thrashing of the Gloucestershire Gladiators.
Tagg continued: "We're delighted. The response has been brilliant and since the win on Wednesday the phones have taken off again.
"There will be about 4,500 here tonight, although we obviously have to estimate the number of members who will arrive.
"Sales are also going well for the Somerset and Worcestershire games. We have probably sold around 2,000 for each of those and we would advise anyone who wants to make sure of seeing them to buy tickets in advance."
The Somerset game is at Wantage Road next Wednesday while Worcestershire visit the following Tuesday. There is no parking at the ground tonight, except for disabled members.
