James Adams and Sean Ervine shared an unbroken stand of 110 as Hampshire cruised to a nine-wicket Twenty20 Cup win over Sussex at The Rose Bowl.
Chasing Sussex's 133-8, Michael Lumb got Hampshire's reply off to a flying start with 21 off 13 balls.
Adams (68 not out) and Ervine (42 not out) then eased their side to victory on 137-1 with 23 balls to spare.
Only Dwayne Smith (63) impressed for Sussex as Dominic Cork and Hamza Riazuddin both took three wickets.
Riazuddin soon put Hampshire in charge, removing Chris Nash, Murray Goodwin and Luke Wright, for a first-ball duck, to leave Sussex reeling on 27-3.
Ed Joyce threatened to help Smith rebuild the innings. But, after he was dismissed by Imran Tahir for 26, Cork struck in quick succession before Adams, who hit two sixes and seven fours in his 49-ball innings, and Ervine blitzed their side to victory.
