Jonathan Trott hit his second straight fifty as Warwickshire beat Glamorgan in Cardiff to truly get their 2009 Twenty20 Cup campaign up and running.
The Bears urgently needed another victory to build on Friday night's local derby win over Worcestershire.
And they got it too, Trott hitting 55 and Ian Bell 42 as they made 129-3 to win with five balls to spare.
Skipper Jamie Dalrymple top scored for the home side at Sophia Gardens with 50 out of Glamorgan's 129-8.
Neil Carter was the pick of the Bears attack, taking 3-16.
Warwickshire now host unbeaten Midlands/West Wales Group leaders Northants at Edgbaston on Monday (1730 BST).
Glamorgan go to Taunton to face a Somerset side who suffered their first defeat in this year's competition at the hands of Gloucestershire on Friday night.
