Northants extended their winning Twenty20 Cup run to five games with victory by 10 runs over Gloucestershire at Bristol.
Jon Lewis used all his experience to take 4-37 as Northants were dismissed for 162 with one ball of their 20 overs left, Ian Harvey top-scoring with 48.
Hamish Marshall got Gloucestershire off to a flier with 42 off 22 balls.
But despite 40 from captain Alex Gidman they lost six wickets for 40 runs and eventually closed on 152-7.
