Herschelle Gibbs and Andrew Gale proved to much to handle for the Durham Dynamos helping Yorkshire Carnegie to an impressive 9 wicket victory at Headingley..
The pair put on an unbeaten partnership of 137 runs after opener Jacques Rudolph (13) was bowled by Steve Harmison at the start of the 4th over.
Gibbs (76) and Gale (60) made light work of the Dynamos bowlers smashing 12 fours and 7 sixes to secure an easy victory.
Having been put into bat by Yorkshire the visitors struggled losing wickets at regular intervals to score a below par score of just 156-7.
Rich Pyrah was the pick of the bowlers for Yorkshire taking the prize wickets of Ross Taylor (31) and Albie Morkel (33) to help the home side restrict the Dynamos.
