The Lancashire Lightning lost 7 wickets in the space of 32 balls to hand the Leicestershire Foxes a 14 run victory at Old Trafford.
The Lightning were well placed with Tom Smith (48) and Stephen Moore (12) at the crease with the score 90-2 but the wicket of Moore started a dramatic collapse which the home side never recovered from to leave the Foxes celebrating a memorable victory.
Having won the toss the Foxes struggled against the Lightning bowlers with Stephen Perry (3-26) in impressive form as the visitors were restricted to a total of just 141-6.
Openers James Benning (45) and Jacques du Toit (31) were the pick of the Foxes batsman with important contributions at the top of the order.
