The Durham Dynamos claimed their third win in this years Friends Provident t20 thanks to a 6 wicket victory over Yorkshire Carnegie at the Emirates Durham ICG.

Despite losing skipper Phil Mustard (1) and Ian Blackwell (0) at the start of their run chase the Dynamos cruised to victory reaching their target of 132 with over 4 overs to spare.

Ross Taylor (49) and Dale Benkenstein’s (57) third wicket partnership of 101 changed the course of the game and despite losing a couple of wickets at the end of their run chase the Dynamos recorded the victory.

Having win the toss Yorkshire decided to bat first and although Anthony McGrath remained unbeaten on 34 the visitors struggled against the home teams bowlers with only Andrew Gale (28) and Adil Rashid (21) offering any support.
