


Yorkshire Carnegie cruised to a 9 wicket victory over the Leicestershire Foxes at a subdued Grace Road thanks to a fine half century from Andrew Gale.
With only a total of 149 to chase the visitors strolled to victory thanks to Gale (65), Jacques Rudolph (53) and Herschelle Gibbs (29) who out the Foxes bowlers to the sword.
The victory was assured thanks to an impressive opening stand of 103 by Gale and Rudolph who took advantage of some pretty ordinary bowling.
Having won the toss the Foxes made hard work of their innings with only James Taylor (60) offering any resistant’s against the visitors bowlers with Rich Pyrah (2-19) the stand out performer.
