The Nottinghamshire Outlaws held on to record a 11 run victory over the Durham Dynamos at the Emirates Durham ICG.
Set a total of 187 for victory the Dynamos came up just short despite vital contributions from Dale Benkenstein (40), Ross Taylor (33) and Ian Blackwell (23).
The Outlaws managed to hold thanks to an impressive performance from Darren Pattinson (2-16) who picked up two vital wickets after Dirk Nannes and Ryan Sidebottom combined for figures of 74-0 from 8 overs.
Having won the toss the Outlaws batted first with Alistair Brown (73) shinning with the bat smashing 6 fours and 3 sixes to propel the visitors to a big total.
Supported by Samit Patel (51); Brown remained unbeaten to help the Outlaws set the home side a big run chase.
