Steven Croft scored a half century to help the Lancashire Lightning reach 187-8 against the Durham Dynamos at Old Trafford.
Having lost Tom Smith (5) in the second over the home side were indebted to Croft who scored 68 from just 60 balls which included 7 fours and 2 sixes.
With support coming from Stephen Moore (21) and Simon Katich (35); Croft produced a memorable inning to give the Lighting the advantage.
Despite Croft’s big hitting innings Liam Plunkett () was the pick of the bowlers picking up the wickets of Paul Horton (6) and Katich.
