


The Sussex Sharks slumped to their second defeat in the space of three days after the Kent Spitfires record a 27 run victory at the County Ground in Hove.
The defending champs, who sit 4 points clear at the top of the Friends Provident t20 South group were set a target of 194 after Spitfires skipper smashed an unbelievable 98 from just 55 balls.
The Sharks started off poorly losing Ed Joyce (8) and Murray Goodwin (5) inside the first 3 overs leaving the home side 14-2.
Matt Prior (44) offered some resistant’s with an impressive innings but the Sharks continued to lose wickets at regular intervals to finish the game 27 runs short of victory.
