The Gloucestershire Gladiators claimed just their fourth victory in this Friends Provident t20 thanks to an 8 wicket victory over the Glamorgan Dragons at the County Ground in Bristol.
With a target of 154 for victory the home side got off to a great start thanks to Aaron Redmond (33) and William Porterfield (65) who shared an opening partnership of 94.
Porterfield, who was bowled by Jim Allenby in the 7th over smashed 8 fours and 4 sixes to leave the home side well positioned to secure victory.
Redmond quickly followed but James Franklin (29) and Hamish Marshall (16) made trouble free progress to condemn the Dragons to their third straight defeat after scoring 153-7.
