The Somerset Sabres cruised to a 7 wicket Duckworth Lewis victory over the Glamorgan Dragons at the SWALEC Stadium in Cardiff.
Having been set a target of 117 for victory the Sabres reached 48-2 before heavy rain forced the players from the pitch.
After a 30 minute delay; play resumed at 22.05 with the Sabres handed a target of 92 from 15 overs meaning they needed another 44 runs from 50 balls.
With Marcus Trescothick at the crease the visitors made light work of the run chase thanks to the Sabres skipper who scored another wonderful half century from just 29 balls.
Having won the toss the Dragons batted first and they suffered a torrid time with the bat reaching 116-7 thanks to Tom Maynard (39) who top scored after Mark Cosgrove (9), Jim Allenby (0) and Mark Wallace (0) failed with the bat at the top of the order.
