The Glamorgan Dragons faint hopes of reaching the Friends Provident t20 quarter finals were end by the Kent Spitfires and the elements at the SWALEC Stadium in Cardiff.
Faced with a target of 159 for victory the Dragons had reached 95-3 at the end on the 14th over when heavy rain forced the played from the pitch.
With no more play possible at the SWALEC Stadium; the Spitfires were awarded a 14 run Duckworth Lewis victory.
Mark Cosgrove (54) was in fine form again scoring another impressive half century for the Dragons but with no support at the top of the order the Dragons had slipped behind the D/L calculations before the rain arrived.
Having batted first the Spitfires reached 158-9 thanks to scratchy innings from Joe Denly (30), Darren Stevens (28) and James Tredwell (25).
