Samit Patel steered the Nottinghamshire Outlaws to a comprehensive 7 wicket victory over Yorkshire Carnegie at Trent Bridge to end the visitors faint hope of reaching the knock out stages.
Faced with a total of 113 for victory the Outlaws lost two early wickets; before Patel (40) put the home side in control with a quick fire innings before he was dismissed by David Wainwright in the 8th over.
With Patel gone Davvid Hussey (37) and opener Alex Hales (27) lead the Outlaws home with 26 balls to spare.
Having won the toss Yorkshire decided to bat first but it was a decision which backfired after the visitors lost 4 early wickets to leave them 34-4 after 8.1 overs.
Wicket keeper Jonathan Bairstow (25) and Lee Hodgson (39) gave Yorkshire hope but their total of 112-7 was never competitive.
