Big hitting West Indies all rounder Kieron Pollard has sent out a warning to the Somerset Sabres rivals ahead of tomorrows Friends Provident t20 Finals Day at the Rose Bowl.
Pollard, who missed the Sabres 7 wicket quarter final victory over the Northamptonshire Steelbacks is determined to help the Sabres go one better after losing last years final against the Sussex Sharks.
"It is a good feeling to be back, hopefully we can go out there and maintain the cricket we have played in the quarter final," said Pollard.
"My form has been quite good and I am hitting the ball well. You never lose it as a cricketer; it is a matter of confidence and going out there and playing to the best of your ability."
Despite missing Pollard the Sabres made light work of the Steelbacks while their big hitting West Indian was back in the Caribbean playing for Trinidad and Tobago in the Caribbean t20 tournament.
"It was pretty disappointing to lose the West Indian semi-final back home because all the guys had an opportunity to taste the Champions League last year."
"But having said that, it is water under the bridge now and hopefully I can go one better here and win the final," he added.
