The Glamorgan Dragons cruised to a comprehensive ten wicket victory over the Gloucestershire Gladiators in a one sided game at the County Ground in Bristol.
The visitors cruised to victory, chasing down a target of 82 after the Gladiators had suffered a torrid time with the bat which saw them collapse to a total of just 81 with nine balls of their innings remaining.
Alviro Petersen (42) and Mark Cosgrove (37) steered the visitors home with 36 balls to spare as they look to end the tournament on a high with just one more game remaining.
Kane Williamson (20), Chris Taylor (17) and Ian Cockbain (15) offered the most resistant’s but once the hosts middle order had been removed by Robert Croft (1-10) and Nick James (2-22), the Gladiators collapsed with very little fight.
Having missed the previous two games in order to allow the Dragons younger players to gain experience, Croft returned to the line up and produced the visitor’s most economical figures in the history of the tournament, conceding just 10 runs from his four overs.
