Outlaws bat first, Thomas back for Sabres

Nottinghamshire Outlaws skipper Adam Voges has won the toss and elected to bat first against the Somerset Sabres in the first of todays Friends Life t20 Quarter Finals.

Having won every game at Trent Bridge during the group stages, the Outlaws will be looking to complete a perfect home record with a victory over the Sabres.

The hosts will be without David Hussey and Tamin Iqbal while the Sabres welcome back Kieron Pollard and Alfonso Thomas as the teams clash in a repeat of last year’s semi final which saw the Sabres record a tight 3 run Duckworth Lewis victory.
