Jimmy Adams and James Vince helped the Hampshire Royals set Yorkshire Carnegie a run chase of 151 to win the 2012 Friends Life t20 tournament at the SWALEC Stadium in Cardiff.

Adams lead the way with a quick fire 43 during a second wicket stand of 48 with Vince (36) after the early loss of Michael Carberry (8) and Neil McKenzie (4) after the Royals skipper Dimitri Mascarenhas won the toss and elected top bat first.

Simon Katich (25) and Sean Irvine (21) enjoyed cameo performances to help the Royals reach 150-6 which leaves Yorkshire facing a tricky run chase to win their first Friends Life t20 title.
