Glamorgan Dragons will come up against a familiar face in tonight's crunch Twenty20 Cup clash - and hope he doesn't have the Indian sign over his former team-mates.
Sourav Ganguly, who spent two uneventful months as Glamorgan's overseas player midway through last season, will be in the Northants side for the top-of-the-table clash at Wantage Road (5.30pm).
The former Indian captain, who has played close to 300 one-day internationals, failed to sparkle for the Welsh county as he and his former side struggled in last season's competition.
Scoring just 114 runs in a dismal Twenty20 campaign last term, the prolific left-handed opening batsman will now be hoping to put one over his ex-mates after making an impressive start during his short Northants career.
'He certainly didn't do it last year and I think he used our Twenty20 last season to get himself a feel for the competition,' laughed Glamorgan captain Robert Croft, tongue firmly in cheek.
'But honestly, it would be good to see Sourav again.
'He was a popular individual in our dressing room.
'I'm sure the boys will look forward to seeing him - but hopefully not too long with the bat.'
After being left frustrated by the elements against Warwickshire on Wednesday night, the Glamorgan bandwagon continues with the difficult trip to Northamptonshire.
It currently looks like a four-way race for two spots in the Midlands/West/Wales pool, with a quarter-final spot possibly open for the third-placed team if their record is good enough.
With rock-bottom Worcestershire facing a certain exit and defending champions Somerset hanging on by a thread, it leaves Warwickshire and Gloucestershire battling out along with the two top group teams in pole position to reach the knockout stages.
'It's a big game for us and we are looking forward to it,' added Croft.
'They are a good side.
'They have come under scrutiny over the last couple of seasons over their pitch, which has been reported.
'But ultimately when we get out there it's 22-yards and whatever pitch they play on we have to as well.
'Hopefully the best side will come through in the end.'
The Dragons had changed their Twenty20 line-up for first time this season for the rain-ruined clash with Warwickshire.
And they are expected to retain David Harrison at the expense of the omitted Andrew Davies once again for today's match.
Rookie England Under-19 batsman Ben Wright has been added to the squad following a series of fine displays for the Seconds in recent weeks.
