Bichel gets timing right

Worcestershire played party-poopers in front of a 9,000 crowd, Warwickshire's biggest of the season, with an efficient all-round performance that carried them to a third consecutive Twenty20 win.
They cut their run chase a bit too fine for comfort and only secured victory with three balls to spare when Andy Bichel lifted Mark Wagh for his third six in an unbeaten 45.
But Worcestershire's win was based on the tactical ability of their seamers, who cleverly delivered slower balls and yorkers to stifle Warwickshire on a slow pitch.
Warwickshire must have suspected it was not going to be their night from the moment that Heath Streak was forced to withdraw with a torn stomach muscle, an injury which will sideline him for a month.
They could not get a partnership going until Jim Troughton and Dougie Brown clouted nine of the 16 boundaries in the innings between them.
Vikram Solanki and Bichel nursed Worcestershire through a frenetic finale.
