The Lancashire Lightning travel across the Pennines tonight to face arch rivals Yorkshire knowing that their Twenty20 Cup qualification hopes are hanging by threads.
Andrew Flintoff and company will have to reverse last Friday's 15-run loss and hope that a whole host of other results go their way if they are to book a place in the quarter-final draw.
"We have been fairly impressive in Twenty20 for a couple of years now and we have had games this year that we should have won - but winning is a habit," stated Dominic Cork, who recorded his side's best competition bowling figures of 4-16 in the success against Nottinghamshire.
Even if we don't qualify for the next stage, it is important we keep up this winning momentum for the second half of the season."
The only way the Lightning can qualify tonight is via one of the two best third placed finishes. That means that not only do they have to rely on results in the North Group, but they also have to keep an eye on the other two groups.
"We have got ourselves into a pickle with relying on other teams having to lose and us keep winning. It is not the best way to go into a final day situation," explained another of Sunday's star performers Stuart Law.
"But we have got ourselves into a position where we can get through with a win and we have to rest our hopes on that. Only then can we start looking at others doing us a favour."
Although the likes of Law and Cork will be looking for a repeat performance of Sunday's seven-wicket success over Nottinghamshire, they will be happy to step out of the limelight for a certain star all-rounder.
