Leicestershire Foxes will celebrate their Twenty20 Cup success at a rearranged NatWest Pro40 match next month, irrespective of the outcome of Finals Day at Trent Bridge.
The Foxes will give supporters the chance to honour the achievements of the team in reaching a fourth successive Finals Day at the Worcestershire Royals match on Monday August 14.
This NatWest Pro40 game has been put back 24 hours due to the fact that there is a reserve day for the Twenty20 Cup Finals Day on August 13, the original date of the Worcestershire game.
"Whatever happens at Trent Bridge, we feel it is only right to recognise what is a magnificent achievement by the team in reaching the Finals Day once again and upholding our proud record in the competition," said Leicestershire's Chief Executive Paul Maylard-Mason.
"We will be holding a barbecue after the Worcestershire game which will be attended by the squad and this will give our supporters the chance to mingle with the players to show their appreciation."
