Neil Carter (47) and Nick Knight (54) set Warwickshire rolling with an opening stand of 85. Then Collins Obuya, the Kenyan World Cup legspinner, had Glamorgan rolling with 5 for 24. Only Matthew Maynard, whose 50 included a six off the first ball of the innings, from Waqar Younis, held Warwickshire up for long.
