Middlesex v Hampshire

Elsewhere in the Southern section Ashley Noffke and Simon Cook took three wickets each as Hampshire were restricted to a modest 134-7. Dimitri Mascarenhas and Nic Pothas added 52 runs for the seventh wicket. Paul Weekes then scored 56 and with good support from Andy Strauss and Chad Keegan Middlesex overhauled Hampshires total with eight wickets and five overs to spare.
After kicking the whole thing off with victory over Sussex ten days ago Hampshire have the worst record in the competition.
