Worcestershire won by one run as their Twenty20 Cup match with Gloucestershire was decided on the final ball.
Graeme Hick (73 off 52 balls) and Andy Bichel (58 off 30) propelled the Royals to 184-9 batting first at New Road.
Opening batsman Stephen Adshead got Gloucestershire's run-chase off to a great start with 81 off 56 balls, a knock including 11 boundaries.
But they fell agonisingly short with Bichel and Nadeem Malik both taking two wickets in a thrilling encounter.
