Middlesex v Essex

Middlesex tasted victory in the Twenty20 Cup for the first time this year, and Essex their first defeat by a nine-wicket margin at Southgate.
The Eagles appeared unlikely to hold on after posting 120-8, with just seven boundaries on a large outfield.
Opener Andy Flower was the last wicket to fall after a patient 47.
Captain Andrew Strauss fell early but Paul Weekes (55) and Owais Shah, who hit fives fours and two sixes in his 48, got home with 10 balls left.
