Northamptonshire v Gloucestershire
The Northants Steelbacks hit a Twenty20 Cup record 224-5 in completing an 81-run win over the Gloucestershire Gladiators at Campbell Park in Milton Keynes.
Steelbacks captain David Sales was to the fore, smashing 78 from 42 balls with seven fours and four sixes.
He shared an unbroken 82-run sixth wicket stand with Damien Wright, whose 38 occupied 20 deliveries.
Aussie Wright took 3-17 and Ben Phillips 4-28 to bowl the Gladiators out for 143 in reply, Mark Hardinges top-scoring with 40.
The Northants total was three more than the previous best, first achieved by Gloucestershire in 2003 and equalled by both Surrey and Leicestershire last season.
