Nottinghamshire v Lancashire
Nottinghamshire played a strong game to beat Lancashire in the Twenty20 Cup at Trent Bridge, after hitting 198-5 and bowling the visitors out for 106.
Skipper Stephen Fleming led the way with a 42-ball knock of 56, with Chris Read (41) and Mark Ealham (33 not out) also enjoying their day's work.
When both Lancashire openers fell for single figure scores, the writing was on the wall for the visitors.
Graeme Swann took 3-32, including skipper Mark Chilton for eight.
Lancashire spinners Muttiah Muralitharan and Gary Keedy were both tight, but opening bowlers James Anderson and Glenn Chapple gave away a combined 106 from their right overs.
Ealham followed up his runs with a couple of wickets and only Steven Crook (21) ensured Lancashire were not bowled out for a score below 100.
