Gloucestershire v Warwickshire

Rain spoilt the fun as Gloucestershire and Warwickshire went head-to-head in the Twenty20 Cup on Tuesday evening.

The match had been nicely poised, with Gloucestershire inserting the visitors at Bristol, and taking one wicket to leave Warwickshire 44-1 from 6.1 overs.

Carl Greenidge had bowled Neil Carter for nine in figures of 1-24 while Jon Lewis, fresh from England duty, conceded just 10 runs from 3.1 overs.

Gloucestershire next entertain Somerset on Friday at the same ground.

Warwickshire play Glamorgan a day earlier at Edgbaston.
