| Hampshire v Essex
The Rose Bowl suffered its second wash-out of the 2005 Twenty20 Cup as south division rivals Hampshire and Essex had to take a point each.
The two teams now face off on Wednesday in the return match at Chelmsford.
Hampshire will go there with six points from their first five matches, while Essex are in hot pursuit on five, having played one game less.
Only Kent, with zero points thus far in the division, have no chance of qualifying from a tight group.
