Sussex v Surrey
Azhar Mahmood hit a six and two fours in the last three balls at Hove as Surrey pulled off a remarkable five-wicket win over Sussex on the Duckworth/Lewis method.
The Lions looked out of contention needing 12 off the final three balls, but Azhar launched Michael Yardy for six over long on and followed up with two more boundaries.
The Sharks had scored 139 for six in the 17 overs of their innings that were possible. Matt Prior top-scored with 51.
Ali Brown hit 50 in reply for the Lions before Azhar's late heroics.
Essex and Hampshire had to settle for a point apiece for the second consecutive day after again being hit by rain.
Last night's match at the Rose Bowl was completely washed out but they at least managed one innings at Chelmsford as the Hawks ran up 151 for nine.
Greg Lamb top-scored with 67 from 54 balls with Craig McMillan chipping in with 35. Danish Kaneria was the pick of the Eagles bowling with three for 27.
