Chennai Super Kings are right on top of the Indian Premier League standings after having won every match they have played so far.
Today they will be up against the toughest challenge Delhi Daredevils.
MS Dhoni's men will face Virender Sehwag's Delhi Daredevils in their home match at MA Chidambaram Stadium. But more importantly, the Super Kings will be without the services of Aussie pair of Matthew Hayden and Mike Hussey -- a loss that can turn out to be a major drawback against a Delhi bowling line-up comprising of Glenn McGrath and Mohd Asif.
Meanwhile, for Chennai, in-form batsmen Virender Sehwag and Gautam Gambhir will pose quite a challenge. But no doubt it will be an engrossing contest.
Without the services of Matthew Hayden and Mike Hussey, Chennai will be looking at their captain to repeat the inspiring performance of the last match. Chennai will look at South Africa's Makhaya Ntini to take quick wickets and Sri Lanka's Muttiah Muralitharan to strangle the batsmen in the dead overs. But the trump card for Chennai will be the youngster who has made his presence felt in the tournament already -- Suresh Raina.
Delhi on the other hand will be looking at their openers Virender Sehwag and Gautam Gambhir to give them a flying start. The onus will also be on Mohd Asif -- the Pakistani pacer to take early wickets. But the golden arm of Glenn McGrath is the trump card for Delhi. The Aussie bowler's performance at IPL has impressed all so far.
